<p>The first step involves finding an authorized organization that is given the power to provide certification. There is an extensive list, but a local online search can provide you with details of those available in your area. Some of the well-known organizations include the American Council on Exercise, International Fitness Professionals Association, and the American College of Sports Medicine.</p>
